CME Credits may be claimed at the conclusion of TALES2023, following the completion of the post-activity CME evaluation form which will be accessible within a Claim CME Credits page on the website. An email notification will also be issued to attendees which includes a direct link to the post-activity CME evaluation form.
1 CME Certificate is supplied electronically for the cumulative CME Credits earned commensurate with the extent of participation within TALES2023.
Target Audience
TALES2023 is designed for cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, fellows-in-training, advanced practice providers, nurses, and electrophysiology technicians.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate optimal management strategies of patients with functional, redundant, and advisory leads.
- Assess when to consider lead extraction or refer to a specialist.
- Examine the utilization of multiple tools and techniques intraoperatively to increase efficacy.
- Review strategies to prevent extraction-related complications.
- Review clinical decision-making strategies for the management of patients pre- and post-extraction.
