General information
The Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management (JICRM) is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed clinical journal that is published 12 times per year and which has been in continuous publication since 2010. Its editor-in-chief is Devi G. Nair, MD, FACC, FHRS, Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology & Research at St. Bernard's Heart & Vascular Center, Jonesboro, AR, USA and White River Medical Center, Batesville, AR, USA; President/CEO, Arrhythmia Research Group; Clinical Adjunct Professor, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; and Governor, Arkansas Chapter of American College of Cardiology. JICRM has complete editorial independence from its owner and publisher, MediaSphere Medical, LLC.
Aims and scope
JICRM publishes original research, research reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, and invited commentaries and interviews on the latest developments impacting the field of cardiac electrophysiology, including advancements in catheter ablation, pharmaceuticals, and device therapy. Relevant subject areas include atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and heart failure. The journal seeks to disseminate information that is helpful or applicable for use by electrophysiologists and other health care professionals in today’s cardiac electrophysiology clinical practice. The print and online versions of JICRM are both freely available to interested individuals.
Open-access policy
Open access refers to the publication of information or material in such a way that it is available to all potential users without cost or other barriers. JICRM is a platinum open-access journal; there are no manuscript submission, article processing, subscription, or other author or reader fees.
Article ownership
JICRM operates with a CC BY license. Authors retain the ability to use any part of their published work elsewhere, including figures, tables, and data.
