- Examine the risk of thromboembolism in the LAA in patients with atrial fibrillation, mitral valve disease, and other conditions.
- Evaluate the clinical safety and efficacy of concomitant Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion during surgery for reducing ischemic stroke or systemic embolism.
- Assess optimal clinical decision-making strategies and LAA surgical closure techniques.
