Activity Description
This CME-accredited lunch symposium will examine the clinical intersection of Atrial Fibrillation and Heart Failure, assess current gaps in treatment, and evaluate the role of current and emerging ablation strategies in managing patients with advanced AF and HF. The presentations are complemented by a panel discussion and Q&A session that provide an interactive venue for direct faculty engagement.

Activity Goal
This activity is designed to address the following core and team competencies:
Patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interprofessional collaboration, and roles and responsibilities.

Target Audience
The symposium is intended to meet the educational needs of Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Fellows-in-Training, Allied Healthcare Professionals, and other Physician groups with a clinical interest in managing patients with advanced AF and HF.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate the clinical intersection of AF and HF.
  • Assess the efficacy of catheter ablation for patients with advanced AF and HF.
  • Review the safety and efficacy of the Hybrid approach for treating advanced AF and HF.
