Introduction
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is highly common in patients with Atrial Fibrillation (AF) and carries negative impact on disease progression, response to antiarrhythmic drugs, including a reduced clinical outcome after AF ablation procedures. OSA screening in patients with AF is recommended, however, clinical pathways permitting efficient workflows are lacking.
This CME accredited webinar, featuring faculty who are leaders in the field of electrophysiology and sleep disorders, review AF mechanisms in OSA, describe clinical pathways to increase awareness, and methods to optimize home sleep apnea testing in order to decrease underdiagnosis and reduce the disease’s overall burden.
The expert presentations are complemented with an interactive panel discussion.
